Dyson Energy Services has successfully been awarded the contract through the Fusion 21 Decarbonisation Framework and is tasked over the 2-year contract period of delivering energy efficiency measures to over 130 properties in the Midlands region for client Citizen.
This energy efficiency initiative, funded by the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero’s Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Wave 2.1, will enhance the lives of Citizen Housing residents, with the installation of a range of energy-saving measures including insulation, radbots and additional ventilation.
Through this green sustainable programme of works, residents in the Midlands will benefit from lower energy bills, improved ventilated homes and a reduction in their carbon footprint.
Dyson Energy Services, as Principal Contractor, is delivering all aspects of this retrofit project, from Retrofit Assessment, Coordination and Design to the installation of the broad range of energy-saving measures – all compliant with PAS 2035 standards. Our directly employed local experienced Technicians are carrying out this programme of works.
Two of the Dyson Energy Services Technicians working on this retrofit programme on behalf of client Citizen, Adam and Daniel, undertook a Green Skills Insulation Bootcamp delivered by Coventry College, before joining Dyson and undergoing training.
