Dyson Energy Services are the first installer to obtain TrustMark Licence Plus
Dyson Energy Services, a TrustMark Registered Business, are delighted to be the first installer to obtain TrustMark Licence Plus.
What is TrustMark Licence Plus?
The TrustMark Licence Plus Scheme enables energy efficiency improvement works which support a fabric first whole house approach, to be delivered by a competent business within a flexible assurance arrangement, underpinned by the existing TrustMark structure and processes.

Michael Morrall, Director of Operations at Dyson Energy Services said,
“Setting the standards is our pledge here at Dyson Energy Services. Being the first in our industry to obtain the TrustMark Licence Plus accreditation with the IAA, demonstrates our relentless commitment to putting quality at the heart of everything we do. When consumers are committing to retrofitting their homes, it is our duty as a leading national installer of energy-saving measures to ensure that they have confidence that they are being appropriately protected. Delivering under TrustMark licensing, the only government endorsed quality mark, and providing industry leading guarantees from the Insulation Assurance Authority ensures this.”
What is a fabric first approach?
A fabric first approach prioritises the performance of the components and materials that make up the building fabric itself. This can help to reduce energy bills by improving efficiency and reduce carbon emissions, as well as reduce ongoing maintenance costs.
Buildings designed using a fabric first approach aim to minimise the need for energy consumption through measures such as increasing air-tightness, insulation, and solar gain; as well as optimising natural ventilation and using the thermal mass of the building fabric. These measures can lead to significant savings in energy costs, as well as reducing the environmental impact of the building.
Simon Ayres, CEO at TrustMark states,
“We are delighted that Dyson Energy Services has signed up to Licence Plus through the IAA and look forward to welcoming more businesses as they come on board in the coming months. Licence Plus is a key route for TrustMark Scheme Providers and the Registered Businesses wishing to deliver fabric-first, whole house retrofit, which as well as helping reduce household energy costs also supports the delivery of the UK’s Net Zero targets.”
