This government supported energy efficiency project, which is funded through the Local Authority Delivery scheme and backed also with capital investment from the housing association stockholder, will provide support to more than 150 families that will benefit from greener and improved energy efficient homes.
“This is one of many solar PV projects Dyson Energy Services are delivering in the South of England. Not only will the residents benefit from government funded renewable technologies, including solar PV and solar batteries, but they will future proof their homes against rising energy costs. We are proud to be the installer of choice and to be playing our part in helping residents in fuel poverty during the current cost of living crisis,” said Head of Business Development Manager at Dyson Energy Services, Michael Morrall.
It is proved that community projects of this nature boost local economies with the investment in green jobs. All our Solar PV Electricians and Roofers are directly employed and within the local area.
Michael went on to say, “Solar PV accompanied with the installation of solar batteries, are key measures across all funding streams and are vital in our nations ambitious plans for achieving net zero by 2050. This project benefits both the housing provider and their residents. It helps the client to be on the path of achieving government carbon reduction targets, as well as regenerating local communities. While, residents can generate their own electricity, and benefit from reduced energy bills.”
